Use Parasols for the Perfect Shade Solution

Having moved to Level 1 of the Covid-19 lock-down in South Africa, the demand for shade will go through the “canopy”.

The advice from the medical authorities is to continue with online meetings. However if this is not feasible then the second best option is to hold meetings out of doors. Meeting in the hot sun is not an option and especially if you are holding these meetings with your major customers and suppliers. Zimstone parasols are locally SADC manufactured, 100% sustainable and have all the strength characteristics required with large wall thicknesses on the centre pole and internally braced arms – hence they will last a lifetime.

Fortunately, last year Zimstone took the decision to expand its range of Parasols to include a parasol range of shapes (octagonal and hexagonal shapes are coming!) and sizes all the way through to a monster 4m diameter unit offering 16m2 of shade. In other words, there will be a size and shape to meet every requirement.

A range of covers and bases supplement the Parasol range. A drawstring slip cover with side zip provides protection for the parasol when not in use and easily slips over the collapsed parasol canopy. Zimstone also sells a concrete base of 27kgs and a hardy rubber base of 25kgs.

While Zimstone only sells the parasols frames (to the trade) and unbranded parasol canopies to the retail market, you can have a branded parasol canopy made which in terms of advertising real estate pays for itself time and time again. One could not dream of a better billboard! The branding is effectively at eye level and there is no municipal or government legislation limiting the location of a branded parasol as is the situation with billboards.
